I dont think anyone could comprehend how much I miss Manny. only a couple more days till i get to see him, I hope he's okay though... Meagan (Nathans Sister) whos staying in my room while im gone told my mum that the new couple upstairs let out the third room to some 17 year old chick who whilst the couple are in sydney has been playing ridiculously loud music at stupid o'clock, and had a party the other night that was gate crashed. some guys jumped from the front balcony upstairs on to my sisters barina, I not sure how much damage was done but I think the front windscreen was smashed. They also tried to come into our place downstairs. I havent heard much else i just hope they didnt come across Manny in his cage out the back. Dads pretty much getting right onto it and hopefully that adolecent thing will be out by the time I get back.

Little metal thing on the floor. YAY!

Roosevelt Island. Jacky and Marius standing on frozen pond type thing.

The back of our house with dads snowman from the first fall.

This was taken along the footbridge to Theodore Roosevelt Island, behind the bridge is Georgetown.

Heres a snowman under construction ha.......... ha...........ha............. (you can see the lincon memorial on the left of the base of the monument, and the white house is to the far right of the photo behind lots of trees and security)

Cairngorn Farm Driveway, leads to my parents and Bonnies house.

Adrians charming efforts on Superbowl Sunday!

Myself and Adrian Reading the words of J.F Kennedy at his grave in Arligton Cemetery

Marius being a rebel in front of the netherlands corrilian.

Myself eating a sanga next to the white house... Unfortunately that day the president was getting some sun so no public was aloud anywhere near it... When we asked the officer why we were not allowed to walk down the street in front of it he said "Sorry your not at liberty to know" we laughed. I later zoomed in on the white house roof with a video camera and could see the snipers walking around on the roof.

Bonnie's house next door in the snow.

OH this is our master piece! our Snowman with boobies reached aprox. 6 1/2'. two or three days ago his head fell off and the other day he lost his torso. Now all thats left is a memorable ball.

Jacky, Adrian, Marius and Dad on Roosevelt Island.

Horse tyre swing at the side of the house.

Mum throwing a snowball in front of the house after the second snowfall.

Siblings... AWWW! nothice the shotglasses on chains which prooved to be a fantastic yet not so fantastic idea. It took me a pair of sticky boobs to realise its best to take it OFF your neck to fill.

Jacky and PAC MAN! aka paku paku which means to run around in a maze flaping ones mouth open and shut eating everything in sight.

This is what American Power Outlets look like. I think they look scared... they have every reason to.

Sally leaning on the Washington Monument... This structure leaves so much to the imagination when it comes to taking photos.

When looking at the photos from the night before on new years day, i came across this one... The memories slowly came back of myself and two others going on a little treck and accidentally coming back with a random dog. I dont know what happened to it after this photo was taken.

Jacky, Marius, Charlie and Mel on nye. Oh Oh im drinking yeungling (spelling?) which is the best beer here!

My two beautiful drunk sisters on new years eve. Our plans to chill in time square turned sour when we found out how ridiculous is was to go there on hectic NYE. So we had a kick ass party at our parents house whilst they went to another kick ass party at some one elses house.

A couple of the early birds playing qroquet on new years day! This was followed by an interesting game of cranium and then the most delicious home made hamburgers. The only problem with the burgers was Americas excuse for beetroot - No wonder they dont like it here, cause its CRAP. same goes with mangoes.

This is a skeleton of a parrot in the Natural History Museum. HEHEHE isnt it cute!!!

Out the front of the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Thats me feeding pigeons. Later Marius Tried to make the smoke buy pretending lit cigarettes were food. They spat them out too quicky for us to get a good photo.

OK! this is at an oil and incense shop at Patomac Mills. Sally and I cracked up at this, unfortunately we smelt it and it just smelt like flowers!

The NASA building on Cape Canavril, Florida. This is the largest 1 story building in the world. the tow doors on the side are large enough to let through vertically the rockets that go to space and the moon. We also saw here the launch pads and the vehicles they use to transport the space crafts.

The whole Fam out the front of Universal Studios! (incase you couldn't tell!).

Seagulls are nicer in America

Mel at Mel's Diner, Universal Studios.

Sleeping Flamingoes. This photos were taken in the Smithsonian Zoo. It was the first time I have ever seen flamingoes and they are incredible. everything in the winter here before it snows is so dull and dead looking. The orange and pink birds put a smile on my face! I am dissapointed though, my whole life I have never seen a white swan and I thought I'd get my chance here, alas no luck!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH GIANT GUINEA PIGS!!!!

Sally, Adrian, Marius and I at the Washington D.C Nation Cathedral. This place was Massive. 15 stories high. Every window stained glass which consisted of various religious characters that looked like they were almost right out of a disney movie. weird.

Myself getting acquainted with blank faced sack-man sculptures out the front of the hirshorn modern art gallery. This gallery was brilliant, I didnt get it finished so I'll have to go back before I leave here. In the gift shop they were selling really elaborate pop-up Alice in Wonderland story books by J.Otto Seibold which look fantastic, http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/043941184X/102-7940248-7387332

Adrian out the front of the Freer Gallery next to the Smithsonian Castle on the Washington Mall.

Adrians monument!

The Squirrels here are adorable. There are heaps at the Mall where all the monuments and museums are that are tame... sort of. they will come and eat out of your hands, one accidentally scratched my mum and she still thinks she might have rabies... she was dissapointed in me when I told her that rabies would be at least be a funny thing to die from if she had it.

Jacky and Adrian at the Lincon Memorial. This is HUGE, it lays at the end of the reflecting pool which features in Forest Gump. We went back there recently with Marius and we walked across the entire length of the reflecting pool because it was frozen solid. Marius threw a bouncy ball which hit Lincon on the nose. Lucky no Americans were around!

Marius and Jacky at the Great Falls on the Potomac River in Virginia.

Over in America!

OK! where to begin...
Well I'm in the last week of my stay at my parents in the States. I came over here half way through November and have been living here for the last three months, I travelled over here with my brother and a week or so later Marius came then a month later my sisters who only stayed for a month. Adrian plans to stay for a year and already has a car, a convertable alfa spider injection just like my dads, well, exactly the same (one black and ones white) they each cost under $2000 American Dollars each, which is such a score considering they're awsome classic cars, I guess they're alot harder to come by in Australia than here.
The navy provides my parents with rental furniture and a list of houses for rent when the arrive over here. They scored big time considering the house they're living in! its on 8 acres in the middle of the woods in Alexandria, Virgina. Its four stories, has seven bedrooms, an amazing kitchen beautifully furnished and a old school lift that goes to the third floor. The backyard has a nice flat green paddock that we've set up to play qroquet. The place is consistently surprising us with the amount of wildlife it has to offer... groundhogs, deer, tortoise, Heaps of squirrels, foxes and beautiful cardinals. This is the first country I've ever been to besides Australia and when i fist arrived here it didn't feel much different, but the longer you stay the more and more crazy different it gets. This country is insane. People generally have no manners. Everyone is politically confused. This society seems souly based on consumerism. I guess they're the main downfalls but I'll tell you what, it has plenty to offer on an experience factor. So much stuff to see, laugh at, get sad about, make fun of, be jealous of but mostly just curious about.

Anyways today is Superbowl Sunday and Marius and Adrian have gone to a friends of ours who we went to high school with about 7 years ago who is head of security at the Australian Embassy. Coincidence! another is that since we've been here I've been to a dozen diplomatic parties with my parents two of them were for th diplomats kids that were over for the holidays to get to know eachother and fancy five or six of them going to the ANU, one of the was Emma Alex's Bestfriend (All you ACAT peeps would know her!) anyways you can imagine our faces when we saw eachother at a radom persons house im Washington DC. We caught up once before she left to spend new years with her buddies back in Canbez.

Today we walked accross the Potomac river on a foot bridge with a beautiful view or Georgetown on to the Columbia Island which holds a Theodore Roosevelt memorial and swaplands, A nice sunny day which has melted most of the snow.
Well, Tonight I'm staying at home so I can get stuff done (HA!). I'm not the biggest grid iron fan. But I have alot to say about my 3 months here, Its a pitty i didnt discover this blogger site earlier, But ill write about it all later. Chocolat is on DirectTV at 8:30 so I have a date with a cup of coffee, my Mum and the TV. ..
