I know its been a long long time.

Sorry, Ok well this blog hasn't been updated in over a year now, the header image has been looking crappy for that long as well and yes, i am ashamed.
but I'm here on a positive note. I'm getting back into the blogging game. Ive just recently moved back home to Bobs Farm in the flat which Marius and I have renamed the Y Box. I am currently unemployed. We do not and will not have a television, we are quite a whiles away from everything that isn't bush and sand and I guess this means I'll have more time on my hands to do the important things. Like blog.

So its been an eventful time and I'm excited to re-live it with odd pictures and comments.

Floriade.

Floriade was fun, I didn't realise how many flower shaped flowers they would have until i got there. I think I counted 377718209 flowers. 666352 of which were red.

Want to do something to help stop global warming?
Here are 10 simple things you can do and how much carbon dioxide you'll save by doing them.

1. CHANGE A LIGHT.
Replacing six regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs will save 400 kg of carbon dioxide a year.

2. DRIVE LESS.
Walk, bike, carpool or take public transport more often. Tou'll save 1.5kg of carbon dioxide for every 5km you don't drive!

3. RECYCLE MORE.
You can save 1000kg of carbon dioxide peryear by recycling just half of your household waste.

4. CHECK YOUR TYRES.
Keeping your tyres properly inflated can improve your car's fuel efficiency. Every litre of petrol saved keeps 2.5kg of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere!

5. USE LESS HOT WATER.
It takes a lot of energy to heat water - use less hot water by installing an energy efficient triple A rated showerhead (3 tonnes of carbon dioxide saved per year) and washing your clothes in cold or warm water (225kg saved per year)

6. AVOID PRODUCTS WITH ALOT OF PACKAGING.
You can save 545kg of carbon dioxide if you cut down your garbage by 10%.

7. MOVE YOUR THERMOSTAT DOWN 2 DEGREES IN WINTER AND UP 2 DEGREES IN SUMMER.
You could save about 900kg of carbon dioxide a year with this simple adjustment.

8. PLANT A TREE.
A single tree will absorb one tonne of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.

9. TURN OFF ELECTRIC DEVICES.
Simply turning off your television, DVD player, stereo and computer when you're not using them will save you thousands of kilograms of carbon dioxide a year.

10. BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION.

Shootout 06

Bunnies!!!

You are reading the blog of a person who lives with three of the cutest animals EVER... and im not just saying that. I never laugh more than when i just watch them all run around... If you have never seen a baby bunnie yawn or a ferret steal something three times his size, you've never lived.

These are our new additions to the family the brown one is Konijnje (ducth for little rabbit) and the white one is Wiggles (futurama).

I just noticed that i havent posted a picture of Manny for a long time... so here you all go incase youve forgotten how cute he is... I brought him a little sheepskin coat for the freezing winter we're having... I put up another pic soonish.
Today I helped Nathan pull the engine out of his car, and now im making fried rice.
